Jose Pineiro is a dedicated IT professional with years of experience in software developing. In 1988, he completed his bachelor degree in Computer Science. In 1988, he started working as IT Consultant and also started working at Apollo as Software Developer. Jose Pineiro has profound knowledge of Microsoft software development technologies for web and windows including VB.Net, C#, HTML, XML, DHTML, ASP, Java Script, COBOL and more. In 1988, Jose Pineiro joined Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc. “The Apollo Group” in 1988. Apollo is a privately held company offering cruise and hotel related services such as food and beverage services, housekeeping, marine staffing, warehousing logistics, and travel fares to major cruise lines such as Oceania, Regent, Thomson and NCL. He started working as Software Developer and had the responsibility of developing a new requisition system for cruise ships. With his dedication towards his profession, he achieved success for the company and was awarded with promotion.
In the year 2005, he was promoted to the Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies. Owing to his role, his responsibility was to develop and maintain the different kinds of software applications including Order Processing and the HR system. With his serious efforts, he has contributed to the growth of the organization by leading and managing all technology initiatives for all Apollo related companies. In this way, he earned respect among his team members.
